To help you determine why a direct debit transaction failed, we added a gateway_result object to the TransactionRead response returned by the GetTransaction endpoint. The object includes a message field with the gateway-provided error message.
Note: gateway_result is available only for direct debit return transactions. To receive this object, the request must include a direct debit return ID.
