Reviewer Portal - Editing Field Size

Question

I want to change the size of several fields in the Reviewer Portal. I reacall in the old Legacy Portal, there was a setting to edit the field width and also number of lines displayed. Is there such a setting in the Reviewer Portal?

Two examples:

The Reviewer Form displays information from the request, but the field is only 5 lines in height, which means a lot of scrolling to read the content. Is there a way to change the field height (i.e. number of lines displayed)?

Reviewers provide scores, and the score fields are currently the full width of the screen. Since the scores are numerical values, I think it would look cleaner to have a smaller field.

Is there a way to edit the field sizes?

Thanks Audrey, I will play around with the layout… each score has a question with it, so I'm not sure but it's worth a try! Thanks for the suggestion!

Hi Beth,

You can set the word limit by editing the field.

Click to Applications> Manager Forms Manager and find the form. Click the 3 dots on the right (just to the right of the Status column) and click Edit.

Find the field for which you wish to limit the response, and click Edit Component.

In the Configuration pop-up, scroll to the bottom if the Details tab, and be sure to check the Show Word Counter box.

Then scroll back to the top, click the arrow beside Details, then choose Validation. In this tab you can choose min/max word count. At the bottom of the pop-up, click Save.

I had the experience that the word limits set in the Forms Manager were overridden by the field counts in the Blueprint Fields Library. So try which I've suggested above first, and if it doesn't work it could be that the field has additional restrictions from the Fields Library/Custom Fields library.

I have an applicant who submitted a requirement for a grant approved under the Legacy Portal.  The grantee wants to apply for continued funding.  The portal thinks the requirement is the application for this year.  My guess is that when I published the requirement and created a new application I did something wrong.  Help!
