Since we announced that support for Raiser’s Edge NXT database view will end on Sept. 15, 2027, you’re asking an important question: What does this mean for my organization, and how should we prepare?

I want to know when batches created in database view will transation into webview. Is this happening or are we to start from scratch with batches in webview? And, basic info that currently exist in database view such as info sourse (where new address came from), who last updated the record and when — will those options make it to webview. There are just a lot of functionality that current does not exist in webview which makes the sunset of database view a bitter pill to swallow.

My understanding is that db batches will not be transitioning to web view. If it were to happen it might be Sept 14, 2027. From the EAP on gifts, we need to create new batch templates in web view. Db view templates are not coming over.

While some orgs keep every batch created, the gifts are all on records. Any corrections or change appear on the gift records, not on the batch record. I know orgs run letters, report, post gift by batch but I have to wonder if that makes moving all db batches to web view a priority. We do not save gift batches beyond the FY.

There are more fields like comment, source, etc. that are reportedly coming to web view. I agree seeing who last updated/changed a record is very useful to us as well.

Thank you for this. Can you confirm that the Inside Track session on November 10th is cancelled? It is on my calendar (conflicting with the Town Hall session), but it looks like maybe it was called off.

@Sunshine Reinken Watson correct. We do not host InsideTrack sessions in May and November because we will deliver the Product Update Briefings those months.

Holly, I was able to go back and watch it from the original link since I had tech difficulties while it originally aired due to it being blocked by our org's firewall—but just an FYI, I never received a recording for it and also did not from the webinar last week—for that one as well I was able to access from the original registration email.

@Holly Yeagle, Same as Mara Weber. I attended the Sept 8 inside track and the 9/15 townhall. Usually, a link is emailed out to all those who registered within a day after the session completes. However, I too have not received either recording. Should we not be expecting those with the goldcast events and is it okay to just use the original join link to rewatch these events?
