Searching through the Ideas, there are multiple posts asking for sorting of tables in NXT. Some are older than 2 years! None of them have responses from Blackbaud on whether this will be eventually implemented, or any response at all, to be honest. Currently, new table entries just go to the bottom of the list, meaning that they can be hard to find if they aren't in some type of order. Not to mention that some of the fields in tables (Grants and other transaction codes, for sure, but I imagine there are others) cannot be typed in during data entry unless you have the exact name, otherwise you have to scroll through the entire listing, which in some cases can be extensive.
As of today, the functionality to sort tables is still available in database view, but with regular emails threatening the completion of Total Web Solution (and therefore the end of database view), we are increasingly concerned with creating new tables and/or table items. Is anyone else having this issue? And has anyone else come up with any solution in NXT to get around this? We have been trying different things, but we haven't come to any conclusion.
