Re: Copy Query JSON
@Ryan Carr
You are correct, the code is in JSON format, specifically for use in Adhoc query. However, you cannot directly use it “only”.
https://developer.sky.blackbaud.com/api#api=query&operation=StartQueryExecutionJob
The “body” of the request needs to look like this:
{
“query”: {},
}
The JSON copy from webview query goes INSIDE the red {}.
and you may (and should) specify other parameters (for example):
{
“query”: {},
“formatting_mode”: “Export”,
“output_format”: “JSON”
}
Re: Submitted Application Date in New Portal Application
@Julianne Green
I was in a Q&A on May 22nd and asked the question in the chat. Jason responded that there are related cases open with Support regarding this issue, but I have no idea of any resolution and not sure how/where I would find that information. For now, I'm updating manually which is not ideal.
Re: Correcting invoice coding in A/P instead of with a JE
@Marie Estrella
Yes, that's how I normally do it also, but occasionally FENXT will not allow me to change the debit GL coding. That was what I was running into on this one. Strangely, after waiting several days and trying multiple time to edit the GL debit coding, it finally let me do it last Thursday! Yay! I have no idea why it wouldn't allow me to edit the invoice coding for several days and then it did allow me to. I'm happy that it finally worked.
Re: Pending Submissions - New Portal
@Harrison Fan
Not ideal to have to readjust each time.
Pending Submissions - New Portal
Some questions regarding the pending submissions - new portal…can the order in which the columns appear be changed? Can the column width be changed/saved? Any opportunity to sort the information within a column or filter the information? Thank you!
Re: 2 stage applications in New Grantmaking Portal
@Rhonda Oakley
As we rely upon a two-step application, I appreciate you highlighting this issue. I was hoping another BBGM user would respond by now, unfortunately I don't have an answer. Have you opened up a case with Support? It's disheartening that it is more difficult to set up a two-step application than in the legacy forms manager, which was pretty straightforward.
Also curious if Blackbaud has established the fix to link a NEW Stage 2 application with a Legacy pre-application/Stage 1 application.
Re: RENEXT - Best practice for updating constituents postal addresses to ensure they are accurate?
@Christine Robertson That would be ideal, but I am in the UK and I'm not sure that there is an equivalent. Thank you for your reply ![]()
Re: Data points that help fundraisers to understand target analytics
@Payal Sen When I used RP at a previous organization. We used RP to enhance our internal data screening rather than the other way around. We created a series of weighted measures and run internal screening metrics eg. RFM analysis, cohort analysis, engagement, and relationship mapping. Hope this helps.

Re: Validation of Invoice Import is awful
@Dawn Asbury
It's not just importing Invoices. All the imports have a horribly inefficient way to validate then actually import. So many clicks, saves, views, repeat.
