Re: Share: What is your dream bbcon destination?
Chicago sounds nice, or somewhere up north like Boston.
Re: Share: What is your dream bbcon destination?
Seattle was amazing! Would love to go to Hawaii, Southern California, Maine, Boston and Canada!
Re: Share: What is your dream bbcon destination?
So many amazing places to visit. I've never been to Oregon, but Seattle, Boston, anywhere in Maine would be fun too. Or if I'm going to dream big, why not Italy, Scotland, or Australia?
Re: Share: What is your dream bbcon destination?
I have to say I love the East coast as more Blackbaud people can attend. It has been a while since I've been to South Carolina! I would also love Maine :) If I was going to go big - I'd say Australia :)
Re: Share: What is something you learned about Adam Grant?
I had not heard of him before, but since the announcement, I read a bit about him and I'm looking forward to hearing him speak. I'm currently listening to his book "Think Again" .
Re: Share: What is something you learned about Adam Grant?
I hadn't heard of him before and fell in love with his book Hidden Potential. I feel like his appreciation of failure plays heavily into why the proposal for a session that @Sara Niemiec, @Lauren Henderson, and I will be presenting on Monday Afternoon! I briefly cover an idea he shares in the book - that wasn't his idea - called Brainwriting! I am a little nervous I won't get to see the entire keynote as @Hallie Guiseppe and I are up at 10:15 right after his talk. . . Thank goodness it will be recorded. There is something about the energy in the room that is so palpable during the keynotes - the inspiration is beyond words.

I hadn't heard of him before either - but after reading his bio, really exited to hear him speak. I'm most interested to hear about how we utilize the drive for motivation and meaning in our daily work.

I had not heard of him before he was announced, so I learned who he was and have listened to a couple of his books on my drive to work.
