We've created a fun and interactive way for you to explore popular features as they get released in web view. Each month, a new PowerUp Challenge activity will highlight a specific functionality, guiding you through a series of questions to complete key tasks and ultimately earning you a special limited-edition challenge badge.
The number of tasks and time allotted will vary by feature, and once the completion deadline passes that specific challenge will expire.
And exciting news! By completing each challenge and collecting all the badges, you’ll be eligible to win a $500 cash donation for your organization or an all-access pass to bbcon 2026. Winners will be selected through a random drawing.
Collect all the badges, become a Raiser's Edge NXT PowerUp Challenge Champion, and get entered to win!
Your Giving Season campaign is an exciting opportunity to deepen connections with your supporters, and the tools you use will make all the difference. For the sixth round of the Raiser’s Edge NXT PowerUp Challenge, we’re focusing on communication tools that help you engage meaningfully this Giving Season. With Raiser’s Edge NXT Email Marketing, you’ll have everything you need to create standout emails that inspire action. These tasks will walk you through crafting a practice email for your year-end campaign, step by step.
Get started on all three email marketing tasks in order, beginning with question one, and complete them by September 10 to earn your sixth PowerUp Challenge badge! Your practice email can reflect any theme or design you choose—so let your creativity shine.
Start by configuring your default email setting, including the sender’s name, email address, reply-to address, and your organization’s branding (like colors and logo). How do you feel about the default settings available in the email marketing tools within Raiser’s Edge NXT?
Head to the email designer and click + Create an email. Choose a template and begin building your email. Add your content, choose your column layout, and apply your preferred styling. Which template did you select, and why? What was your experience like setting up consent management features?
Send the email you created to yourself as a test. Once it arrives in your inbox, take a screenshot of the delivered email and upload it in the comments.
