RE NXT Gift Management & Batch entry

Hi Everyone,


I am thrilled that gift management and online forms builder have been brought to NXT. Everything about the donation form builder is great with the exception of not being able to link to an event for donation forms.


The other concern is that Gift Management is not quite there yet with it customization. We use attributes to track restrictions and location allocations on gifts but there is no attribute button in gift management. There also is no way to apply a gift to a pledge or split a gift within this new option. When will this be fully up and running? This means we can use gift management for certain gifts but not all of them and therefore makes the nxt method in-efficient to use.


I am looking forward to seeing a resolution on this soon as Gift Management has some great potential.

I asked about this at BBCon this past October, as our organization also uses attributes in our donation forms (for thank-you gift processing, in our case). Per BlackBaud they're working on adding the attribute function to the NXT online form builder, but have no word yet on when it will be released/available. As such we've had to leave our web donation forms in OnlineExpress while we move everything else to NXT, with the hopes of fully moving all of the donation forms to NXT once those features are released.

Can't speak to the other concerns you raised, however, the attributes are hopefully coming down the pipeline!
