Counselor Assignment email generated when editing/updating candidate information

Well after a candidate has been assigned to a counselor (and they received their notification email re: the assignment), our counselors are receiving additional assignment email notifications like this "(Name) has been assigned to you. Please login to review his inquiry" after a change has been made to the candidate's file (whether I make the change or they do). 

Has anyone else experienced this? It may have started once the notification email bug was fixed. Better too many emails than none, but it might be another bug.

  • Yes, we are also experiencing this issue and it is annoying out admission counselors.  I added an idea yesterday to make this notification only be sent when the admission counselor is assigned or re-assigned. Please vote for this idea.  I agree, it did not always function as it currently is but change at some point during this year.


    Idea: 

    Candidate Assignment Notification should only go out when the Admissions Staff person is assigned/re-assigned.

    Currently a notification is sent to the admissions staff if ANYTHING is edited/added to the Candidate Information area.  Would like the notification to only go out when the admissions staff person is assigned or re-assigned.

  • We have experience this as well and think it may be when we add something to the "pencil" under the candidate entering year.
