RE NXT Address and Phone Look Up

What software do you use when double checking constituents addresses or phone numbers? For instance I try to look up the new donor to make sure that the address we have is correct or if it is missing an apartment number or if the number they give is a home phone or cell phone number? Do you just go to White Pages or is there a better way?
