Merchandise Batch Control Total

Is there a way to enter a control total amount for a merchandise receiving batch? It would be great to find this option.

I enter it in the notes (along with the invoice #, shipping amount, etc.).  In the event I can't find a batch, I'll export everything to excel and search for it there.  Not ideal, but it's the only workaround I've found.  


Tip:  I always use the same format when entering this information in notes, using comma's and semicolon's between each piece of information.  That way I can use "Text to Columns" in excel and divide all the information up in clean, sortable columns.
