RE NXT connection to Outlook 365 for emails/actions

I realize that this has been discussed before, last comment in 2017. We are hoping there is something in the works or possibly something that has already been set up, 'Can we connect RENXT to Outlook 365 for emails - emails sent that automatically create actions?' This has nothing to do with OLX and sending bulk emails, only for creating actions in someone's record. This is one of the biggest things we were excited about when being sold RE. We just switched over to Outlook 365 without a 32-bit connection. All web-based. Is this or will this be a possibility in the future?


I've been asked this over and over and would like to give an intelligent answer other than, 'I don't know'.

I'm almost certain that the NXT Outlook plug-in does exactly this.  If I recall, I thought it worked with Outlook 365, but since I don't use that version, I can't confirm.  https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/office/WA104381160

Thanks Dariel! How could I test this? I'm a little unfamiliar with Plug-ins. Is there an easy way to test it without actually switching to that Plug-in?

We use Outlook 365 - usually using the software rather than web-based, but I've just had a look in the web-based version and it looks like it would work pretty much the same. You can save received emails, sent emails and unsent emails (like below) before you send them .

Vicky Wendt‍ I'm pretty sure there is no way to test it without installing the plugin.  I installed it myself just to test it.  It creates a little icon in the browser (it's a web-based plugin, however it will also create an icon in the Outlook application if you have it installed.  I would recommend just installing it yourself to see if it works the way you would like it to work.

Hi there, I am using Office 365 with Outlook 365 and now have the integration working between NXT and Outlook.

It shows up in menus after you enable/install the plugin etc. For web-based outlook, wiith unsent emails, you click those three dots at the bottom of emails like in the screenshot. For already sent or received emails, the three dots are on the top right and it's in the menu there.


Using the Outlook software on your PC or laptop rather than the web-based version, it just shows up as a button.
