Bounce Detail Report

If I send an email to a defunct address, I get a bounceback message that tells me why - undeliverable, rejected, no such user, mailbox full, etc. I can then make a decision as to what action to take. When sending emails using NXT Email marketing, I get a list of bounced emails but I am unable to review the reason for the bounceback - whether it be soft or hard.


It would be really useful to download a Bounce Detail Report (like this: https://search.blackbaud.com/?_ga=2.62709420.1412287262.1540548317-368285165.1484149235#q=admin%20bounce%20reason&t=All). Would anyone else find this a useful feature?

I agree - it's an essential part of email marketing, list hygiene and supporter care.


And some ISPs use defunct accounts as Spam traps - it damages our reputations as senders to keep emailing to them - so it's also important to look for inactive email accounts. We drop supporters from broadcasts when there's no activity for a year. If they organically re-engage then our system spots that and they re-qualify for broadcasts.
