How to build NXT List for Current Constituent Codes?

Is there a way to run a Constituent List in NXT that includes Constituents with Codes that are actually active? 


For context, we have a Prospect constituent code. If someone stops being a Prospect (they donate or they are determined to no longer be a prospect) we put an end date. I want to run a list of our current Prospects. But when I try using the Constituent Code filter with the "As of option, I still keep getting Constituents who have the Prospect Code with an end date. What am I doing wrong?
