Helping Parents Cope with Email Notifications from K-12

We are in day two of Distance Learning - and the lack of a Daily Digest for email notifications has once again become a hot topic. Our usual email volume of an average of one message per day has now grown to an average of 3.6 messages per parent, per day - and that's only after day one!

As teachers roll out more resources and assignments for students, I expect this volume to grow. For families with multiple children this quickly becomes overwhelming. Parents would feel so much more in control regarding their relationship with the school if they could choose to have a Daily Digest.

I've included a link to the Ideas Bank and an idea that has been out there a few years.
Daily Summary Digest for Email

In addition to garnering more votes for this idea - I would love to hear what other schools are doing to help parents combat email fatigue.

Thanks all
