Difficulty using the Assessment feature for math assessments

My math teachers are struggling with doing online learning and assessing in math. I know that Blackbaud rolled out upgrades on the use of equations in math, but have you all been able to make it work. My teachers would like to use the assessment tools, but want to put in the equations. 


Here is what my teacher is seeing and what he says. Can anyone help?

Agreed.  We found that math assessments were difficult without any type of math type.  The limitations of question type also prompted us to create an evaluative tool when looking at other assessment options.
