Uploading Videos in Topics is Very Slow?

Hi all! Firstly first, I'm not the Education Management person in my organization but since the current situation has put me in the position of an impromptu tech support, I help teachers with their tech questions... so I'm sorry if I get some terms wrong since it's not my main expertise!


Since we started distance learning, our teachers have been using Zoom to meet with their teachers. The sessions are recorder, about 30 minutes or more for each videos. They are instructed to upload it to the Topics. They have been saying it takes them soooooo long to upload a video. From what they told me, it takes so long they get logged out. So my questions are:


1. Do they have to keep logged on to finish the video uploading?

2. Is there any faster way to do this?


Unfortunately, YouTube is out of question since they are worried about privacy.

We had the same problem so we have teachers upload to our google suite and then post the link to the video in a Topic

We have teachers do that also (add a link to the video on their google drive) and have also found that you can use the embed element to embed the video from their google drive directly in the topic.  That gives a nice visual instead of just a link and looks pretty much like an uploaded video.
