These questions may also apply to the donation form too. Is there a way that you can:

1.  Pre-populate form with RE constituent data if (for example the email matches - in lieu of cookie intelligence). This will provide an excellent opportunity for data cleaning as well making the customer experience much better for events and donations.
2. Rather than and all or none anonymous registration, can we allow the primary person to register themselves properly, but the additional people later? There's either no details at all, or 
3. Only include merge field in thank you and confirmation emails if condition is met - eg. Add e-receipt link if an additional donation is received. For our free events, it's not relevant to provide a tax receipt for $0.00.

Hi Leona Skene‍ - Unfortunately it is not possible to pre-populate a form with RE constituent data, allow donors to edit registrations after they are submitted, or create conditionals in e-confirmations.  If you haven't already, I would recommend that you check out the OLX Idea Bank and add these ideas.

Hi Leona Skene‍. For pre-population of OLX forms, Austen Brown‍ is right that OLX doesn't support this. Some of our other marketing offerings do support this, but OLX doesn't.


For allowing additional attendees (besides the main registrant) to add their details to a registration later, OLX doesn't support this either. I'm assuming you have seen the option to allow the registrant to register people without providing their info at the time of registration, correct?




These options will produce options on the registration form like "register later" for an individual guest or "register all guests later" for more than one additional attendee.


For merge fields, OLX unfortunately doesn't offer conditional logic. I don't expect we'll be adding this to OLX as we've now got an all-new event registration form native in RENXT and most of our new feature development time for events will be invested in that new form in RENXT.

Be careful about the "register guest info later".  I worked with someone who allowed that, but they also had a participant attribute that was required.  So while the user would mark the option to provide guest info later, and be able to complete their registration, staff was unable to process the registrations in the plug-in.  I feel like they had to delete the registration from the plug-in and enter everything manually from the email that they received instead.


Of course, this only matters if there is some other required field for participants.  If you didn't have that, it should work okay.  Just make sure you have a good process in place to follow up and get the guest names!
