Link actions to Opportunity in other records

We have an Opportunity in a constituent record but the activity surrounding that Opportunity involves other family members, co-workers, employer and friends.  We are only able to link the actions from the constituent whose record contains the opportunity.  It would be nice (no critical) to be able to link the associated actions in other records to this Opportunity.  I see similar ideas in the idea bank and topics under Discovery from 2015 that are no longer accessible voicing the same need.  It was called Proposals linked to Actions on Other Records (Thank you poster Elaine Tucker and John Heizer)


There is an idea bank suggestion created in 2012 called called Share Actions with individuals/foundations that on review I see I voted for in 2017  https://re7.ideas.aha.io/ideas/RE7-I-47

Not sure if that would apply to Opportunities or not.
