Tracking Opportunities for Planned Gifts in NXT

How is everyone else using the Opportunities when it comes to tracking asks for Planned Gifts, particularly when it comes to those whose amount is unknown. We are having a hard time coming up with a good way to reflect that the effort is being made by the Major Gift Officer without leaving the Asked/Expected fields blank and throwing off other projections or reports. Thanks so much!

We use $1 when we don't know the value of a planned gift. I know it doesn't really help the amounts, but it's better than a blank. They do still throw off reports since $1 isn't much better value-wise, than a zero, but at least you don't have all the "blank" counts.
