Schedule maker - random scheduling?

Hello all!

I am using Schedule Maker for the first time on our BB K-12 platform. I have found Schedule Maker quite useful for scheduling our courses in G9-G12, which are run on a block schedule of A-H (where each course gets 6 periods per 2 week cycle). 


Our Middle School (G6-G8) is run on a random schedule: each course has a different number of classes per 2-week cycle (from 3 to 7) and classes can take place in any of the A-H blocks. 


I know BB documentation says a random schedule cannot be created on Schedule Maker but I have been told by many customer help agents that it can be done. Has anyone in the BB community managed to do a random schedule on SM? Could you please give me any tips on how to make it work?
