Does anyone know how to change the default Addressee/Salutation formats when generating a new individual?

We are in the process of doing away with most titles for our constituents' records. We can clean up old, existing records easily enough, but is there a way to change the default addressee and salutation that is generated when creating a new record?

Hi Darren Blankenship‍ - You will need to: 

• Review your configured Addressee/Salutations in Configuration (refer to KB Article 41476).
• Update your Constituent Default Sets (refer to KB Article 46148).

KB 46148 seemed to be the answer and appeared to work initially, but it looks like it knocked out our automation. Our records would automatically load values upon saving a new record, now it appears that we have to hit shift + F2. Any idea where I can go to find where to update that automation?
