New to RENXT - Question Regarding NXT vs RE 7

Hi,


I just signed the contract with Blackbaud for RENXT.  I received the invite and set-up my log-in and entered.  I am a seasoned RE user, but the last version I used was 7.  Does NXT in anyway, shape or form resemble RE7?  I am looking to have the same interface that I had with that program.  Does that exist in this version?

When you log in to NXT you will what looks like a stack of three coins next to your Initials, see attachment. You then choose Open Database View, I have to download the Citrix app to open RE from there, so not sure what you will see, but when you have opened database view it will be RE as you know it.


So I use both NXT web view and RE.

Thanks for checking.  I am still working on it.  I know where to go to have the database view, but need to download Citrix or something to get it.  I am working with Blackbaud to try and figure it out.  Getting frustrated!

Hi Peggy,


It is frustrating, you need to download the workspace app from here.


So download the one for Windows or Mac or whatever you are using
https://www.citrix.com/en-gb/downloads/workspace-app/


Then, when it is downloaded and installed, you should be able to open database view in NXT.

I got it!  I was able to download the Citrix Workspace without blowing up my computer which happened the first time I tried.  I am so happy right now and LOVE seeing my old friend in the Database Version.
