We are new to Education Management Portfolio and are just completing the implementation process this summer.  We had a student pass away. I have followed the guidelines in the help center to manage his record.  However, when I go to withdraw the student, I see there is an option to graduate the past student with the class.  Has anyone ever used this for a deceased student? I cannot find anything that would let me know if that would be appropriate.  I can imagine circumstances where it might be nice to recognize the student at graduation but I'm uncertain if that is done anywhere.

    First my condolences to your school family.


    I noticed a peer has not answered your question.  


    I searched the Blackbaud Community for the word "deceased" and could not find advise for schools, but found many members that are part of the Church Management community. You may find some insight from their discussions or if you are still interested in finding someone to bounce ideas around with, you can reach out to any of those members.
