Donor Total receipt giving for fiscal year

I can run a list of every donation given during the FY, but I need a report that will show only the total amount of giving for the FY per donor.  Any ideas?

I think one way you might do this is to create a constituent export.  Include a query of the constituents you're interested in.  Then on the export's Output tab, grab the constituent's name from Constituent Information.  After that, go to Summary information, then Total Gift amount (or Total receipt amount, as you prefer) and click that over to the output tab.  Highlight "Gifts" above Total Gift amount.  Click the "Criteria" box at the bottom of the screen.  This will let you choose such things as which type of date to use, what time period you want to look at, and the gift types you want the system to consider.  When you export the file, you'll have constituent name followed by that constituent's total giving per your specifications immediately to the right.
