Attaching files/documents to NXT Marketing emails?

Hi,


I contacted the support team to ask if there was a way to attach or embed documents or files in NXT Marketing emails. The response was: I can confirm there isn't a way to attach files/documents to NXT Marketing emails currently. I believe you would need to get a download link for the file from elsewhere and provide this link on your Email template via a text Content box.


Does anyone have any clever ways of doing this without using a hyperlink?


It certainly would be good to have this feature on NXT Marketing emails.

Hi Natasha,


I don't know of any bulk email app that allows attachments, eg, Mail Chimp, Engaging Networks.


And even when you mail merge in Word/Outlook you can't do an attachment.


So the only solution is to hyperlink to files/documents hosted somewhere, sorry.


My assumption has always been that it would be too heavy a server load to send attachments, but there might be other considerations, as the apps are after-all spoofing albeit officially.

You can do a MS Word Mail Merge with an attachment.  You just need to install the MS Mail Merge Toolkit to get the functionality available.  The installation of the toolkit will add functions to your MS Word Mail ribbon.  If you google the how to of mail merge with attachment there are a lot of videos to show you how to do it.
