OData not working after Microsoft update?

Has anyone else noticed that OData no longer connects after the update from Microsoft last Thursday, July 16th?

Yes! Thanks for pointing out that the OData error is linked to a Microsoft update. I was working on a file that has several OData links in it and when refreshing one query, it changed ALL of them to produce the same results. I'm REALLY hoping Microsoft produces a quick fix so I don't have to rebuild the entire file

I can't even get OData to connect when I start with a brand new Excel file. I can connect to an OData feed that doesn't have any security, but not using Altru. ☹

Just wanted to add that I have not been able to connect to Altru for a couple weeks now as well. Not great, haha.

OData is working again for me as of this morning. I'm waiting to hear back from support what was wrong and how it was fixed since this seems to happen a couple of times a year.

Have you gotten any feedback from Support on this? I am currently unable to connect Altru to my Odata report. I'm probably blanking on a step though.

I did hear from Altru Support: if you're not able to connect to OData, it's because the Altru servers are blocking those requests for certain emails for some reason. (Still waiting to hear the reason.) You should contact Support and reference National Constitution Center Case # 017900950.

@Shannon Knight Hello I see that this post was two years ago. I am wondering if you've been working problem free in odata since. About two weeks ago my odata connections, used in excel and powerbi stopped working. BB says something is spamming using my credentials, and so my login is being locked as a result. Its been difficult to get answers, but even more difficult to not be able to rely on odata. Am curious about if other clients are also experiencing issues in 2022.

@Akane Henriquez, yes, one of my clients had this problem last month. Ask Tech Support how they fixed it for the National Center for Civil and Human Rights (Case # 018961966). It's a server issue, not an Altru problem.
