Outlook and Action reminders

I have banged my head against the sky!  Anyone out there with 365 Office Outlook having any luck getting it to work with Blackbaud action reminder feature in RE?.  I am told it is impossible but not willing to accept the possibility of no.

We have not had too many issues with RENXT and Outlook 365.  It takes the action and then drops it as an appointment on the fundraiser's calendar.  Sometimes we have to edit the calendar item, but it seems to work ok.  We have also had really good luck with pushing emails from Outlook to RENXT as an action.  Our fundraisers love that feature.  Every once in awhile we will have a small glitch, but reopening Outlook seems to fix the issue.  Let me know if there is any way I can help.

We have the Blackbaud plug-in connected to Outlook.  It is in Microsoft's plug-in/app store and is free.  You have to download it and make sure that plug-ins are enabled.  The first time you have to sign into Blackbaud from the Outlook plug-in and enable it.


Prior to that, you will also need to connect your Blackbaud product to the app in the App Marketplace.  Just look for the Blackbaud for Outlook app and hit Connect.  This only has to be done once and then every user can download the Blackbaud plug-in into Outlook

Hi Carrie, We have this problem too. but does this only work for Blackbaud hosting RE. We are running our RE on local server. spending hours and contacting support but they couldn't help.
