Can anyone help how to add revenue of nonconstituents using the import process in CRM? Which batch to use?

I would recommend against doing that, since it's very difficult to look at non-constituent records in the system.


What sort of non-constituent would you be accepting gifts from?

Thanks Rick. Suppose someone who is not an existing constituent donated money , How will I include that in CRM using the Import process. I don't mind adding them as a new constituent.But Enhanced Revenue batch is allowing only existing constituents. So need suggestions on how to do import process for new constituents.

Oh I misunderstood what you were meaning by "non-constituent", as Blackbaud CRM has records in the CONSTITUENT table that are referred to as non-constituents... ie Educational Institution used by the edicational history tables.


I'm no expert on Gift Processing, so I can't really help!

Hi Soma, you can import new constituents into an enhanced revenue batch. You'll need to map the constituent data to the New/Edit constituent collection field. This will add new constituents and also match to existing constituents based on the constituent match settings of the import process.

I couldn't find that field in Enhanced Revenue batch.How will you include that field to that batch?

Hi Soma,


You will not see a New/edit constituent field when adding or editing an instance of the enhanced revenue batch template. This is available for import and is a collection field which captures the constituent information (see attachment). You can find this when utilizing an import mapping template or when mapping the fields in the import process.
