Students that are Enrolled-Not Attending - and Refused

We have just migrated to Enrollment Management from Education Edge. Within Education Edge we can mark students who are doing a year abroad as Enrolled-Not Attending.  This way they are scooped up in all of our communications that go out to Current Students.  There doesn't seem to be and equivalent option in Enrollment Management. Has anyone ran into this issue and if so what is your work-around.  I think I'm still stuck in the idea of a student having a status assigned to them - Current Student, Withdrawn, Refused, etc.

Speaking of refused.  How do you track if you accept a student and they decline the offer?

Thanks!!!!

  • I agree.  I used EE at a previous school and the student status was helpful and I find it very confusing in the new system.  I don't want to usurp your thread but I have a similar question regarding re-enrollment.  When it's re-enrollment time in EE, I changed all the enrollment statuses to 'pending' and only rolled them over once a contract was submitted.  Now, all students remain as students so it's really hard to for the divisions to know who is 'in' and who is not.  Anyone found a way to do enrollment statuses to help with this?

  • In answer to your question about admitted but chose not to enroll, that is captured in the Student Decision section. But I find it cumbersome to track in a nice funnel format.
