Separate Items for Special Applications

Hello!

We currently have our regular application for all students and a checklist for the US campus grades 7-12. We have a seperate STEM program that is application only which our freshman can apply to. I was originally thinking of doing a separate STEM checklist for these students which would also include the STEM app, personal statement, and teacher recommendation, but since many students don't decide to apply for STEM after they already have a checklist it wouldn't be very efficient to have to unassign and re-assign.

Any tips for this or are we just stuck doing it this way?

  • What about adding STEM under "School Program", in their contact card so you can pull a list from that?
  • Coco,

We do that currently so we have a list of who they are, but I wanted to see if there was one place they could fill out the extra items needed directly from a checklist. Like a if yes then these items come up, if no then they don't.
  • I understand now. I have not used checklists yet. I hope they really work! We plan on using them for any mid-year students.
  • Have you considered using an Inquiry form to help identify interested freshmen candidates? Using this flow, you would know (in theory) who would like to apply to the STEM program before they are assigned a checklist. Alternatively, you might have STEM steps that are OPTIONAL that don't affect the candidate's status.
