Copying an asssessment

Paul Kosuth

How do I copy an assessment? When I click on the copy option I get a place to write the Name but it is grayed out. Whys is this the case? Is this a feature that my school does not have or allow?

You can "import" the assignment into the same class, and then edit the imported copy.

Be sure to set a due date for the imported copy that will distinguish it from the original assignment.

That definitely works for assignments but how about
assessments? --

I reported this to blackbaud in mid-August.

It looks like you can import an existing assessment into your class. You don't have the opportunity to rename it during the import process, so you will need to go back and find the newly imported assessment and give it a new title to keep things straight.
