How to set up NXT/RE to email thank you to new donors

Hi Folks:


I couldn't  find a way to email THANK YOU to new offline donor automatically. Donors and gifts are in RE/NXT. Do you have any ideas?

While RE has function for E-receipts it does not have a built in function for E-acknowledgements. That's my understanding from what I've seen/read in forums. I believe there was a post about this not too long ago and there may be a suggestion in Ideas to add this function. Some new web/email functions are coming in NXT but don't know that it will be a straightforward way to do acknowledgements.


Maybe you could run e-receipts and just not include 'receipt' #/jargon.

It should be a kind of welcome package, not receipt for sure.

You might be able to set up an email in NXT workflow. I'm still learning about how the workflow functions. But I've heard you can set up series of emails like 'welcome' and then X days/weeks later have next email go.
