NXT Registration forms NOT automatically linking fees to the Event

We have been using the NXT event registration forms for 1 month now, and today the forms are NO LONGER linking the fees to the event registration.  Is this happening to anyone else?  I have an open case with support, but don't feel like I'm able to provide enough information to the support analyst because they want to know which forms this is happening on and there is no way I can PROVE which form this is occurring on (we have multiple forms for our event)

Elaine, sorry I missed this on the actual community!  I'm glad we were able to connect through Facebook and email and get you squared away.


I thought I'd post a public response here in case anyone is searching the community and runs across this question.


The automatic processing of an online event registration goes through several steps:

• Acknowledgement emails are sent
• We look at host and guest data for a potential match, and either match to an existing constituent or create a new constituent (host) or a named guest (guest)
• We write the participant record(s)
• We add the fee(s) to the host participant
• We create the gift and add it to the NXT batch for approval

The steps above usually take 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Once we get through the last step, we wait for the batch approval to occur. This requires someone from your organization going in and "approving" the batch in NXT.


It can take up to 5-10 minutes for us to get word of the batch approval, at which point the gift payment is added to the participant record.


A few notes:

• Until that last step occurs, currently you will not see any evidence of the payment on the participant's record. You'll just see an unpaid fee until the batch is approved and we create the link between the gift and the participant.
• You can always see what participants in your participant list came in through the online forms by adding the "Registration Form" column. This will then show the form name that a participant was created through. In addition, there is a filter you can use on the participant list to filter to only participants who came in via an online form, or show participants who came in from a specific form if you have multiple forms setup for that event.
