E-cards for donors to send as part of their donation?

Hi - Does anyone currently have the option for their donors to make a donation to their organization and send an e-card to another person? For example, Bob donates to X nonprofit and his donation is a gift for his friend Lisa. Bob makes the donation, chooses an ecard for Lisa, and Lisa receives the e-card letting her know that a donation was made for her birthday to X nonprofit. My organization uses Raiser's Edge. I'd love to hear if anyone else is doing this and, if so, what systems they are using to make it happen (another platform, a widget, etc.). Thanks!

I am interested in hearing what others say. We have Altru and currently mail out a letter to the tributee. There is an option to email the letter but I don't think it is automatic.
