Can a donation be made to a Local Company?

We have set up Local Companies for one of our TeamRaiser Events, in hopes we could capture donations at three levels - donations to a fundraiser, donation to a team, and donation to a company. It appears the 'DONATE' button on the Company Pages put the gift at the Event level and it is not credited to the company. When reviewing the transaction, it does't appear the soft credit can go to the Company. True?

Hi, Amanda. Yes, I can confirm this is true. You can only soft credit a TeamRaiser gift to the Particpant, Team, or Event (not the Company). We've found in some cases, it's just best to hide those Company page donate buttons, to avoid the confusion. Sorry, I don't have better news for you on this one. - Jon

There are many ways to tackle this, but the quickest would likely be to just add some CSS to hide that button on the Company Pages.

To do this, you would navigate through this path:

TeamRaiser > Edit link > 13. Customize Pages > Default Company Page (customize link) > HTML Area
