ecart - "donate now" option (especially the credit card fee)

We would like to offer people the opiton of making an additional donation when they check out of the ecart. Any amount would be great. Calculating a percentage to cover transaction fees would be ideal

There's not a way for Cart to calculate the transaction fees so the way to add a donation option would just be as another item. There are steps in https://kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/68855 to do this and allow the donor to enter the amount they would like to donate. I would suggest just having your Donate item on the main page of the Cart and not in one of the Categories so it's visible to all who visit your cart. Here's a screenshot of my own example.

Thank you. That may be an option, but we were hoping to prompt constituents during the checkout process. I should have been more clear about my feature request.
