Workflow Emails & Removing Constituent from a Workflow

Two questions:

1) Can you confirm that when a workflow email is sent that it will not be sent to someone who is marked DNS, Do not Email?

2) Is there a way to remove a constituent from a workflow?

  • I can answer the second part for you. (I remember hearing it in the Adoption Session that they did about Workflow a few weeks ago.) Once someone qualifies for a Workflow, they will follow it all the way to the very end. You cannot pull someone out.

    Sorry for the delay on this!

    #1 Yes, anyone marked as Do Not Email should NOT receive an email from a workflow. Before any email in NXT is sent, a check is always done to ensure that that user is open to receiving email.

    #2 The response from Julie is correct. We do not currently have a way to remove a constituent from a workflow.
