How to track overdue pledges in RE NXT?

Sorry if I'm missing this answer in another thread. I am hoping to see past due pledges in NXT. Is this possible? Can anyone tell me how to build this?

I have been trying to do this as well. The closest I've found is, if you go into the Report Builder, under Insights is "
Pledge installments by constituent" which has a column for Overdue pledges. What I would really like is to be able to pull them into a List, but I haven't been able to do that, so I'm still using database view for that.

Me too, I'm learning as I go so someone else may have a better way to do this, but here is what I've got so far:


1. Go to Analysis on the NXT menu bar and Select Report Builder

2.  Hit the blue + sign under Dashboards 

3. You will see a Dashboard Builder pop up on the left. This is basically all the features you can drag and drop into your Dashboard. Under "find" I searched "pledge" - in this case I pulled Pledge Instalments by Constituent, but you can drag a few of these over to see what you get

4. By clicking "filters" under dashboard builder you'll get your options on what to filter on. The default Is Date Range, but you could put in Fund for example.


It's worth playing around in. You can choose who to give access to when you save it.  Once you have built one you like, and save it, you can find it under the Reporting Tab for users to view.

@Tiffany England Hi Tiffany, it doesn't provide a date in this part of the Report Building - this may be possible if you are using the full Insight Designer, but I haven't found that option yet.

Pledge, Installment, Payment, Writeoff is an area that is difficult due to it's mix of relationship (1 pledge has multiple installments, each installment can have more than 1 payment paying it, each payment can pay multiple installment/pledge, etc).

While not sure when Blackbaud is going to have more detailed reporting on this, until then, if you really want to, it can be achieved by using custom reporting and SKY API to gather all info on installment/payment/writeoff for pledges. I have done that for my org, but it requires haivng data warehouse, not particularly an easy feat.
