Creating Letters for an In Honor but adding a different constituent contact information

We did In Honor of for our educators on the day of giving. We are trying to create letters for the educators that show who made an In Honor for them and listing that person's contact information as well. I have not figured out how to do this in an automated fashion. I can do one or the other but not both together. The one query is of all of the teachers and their In Honor. The other query would be the donors with their contact information to put into the body of the letter so that the educators can contact the donor if they want to. Does anyone have a solution on how I can create one query to do this? I tried two queries and it didn't work. Thanks for any help that you can provide.

    I think you're looking for the Honor/Memorial Contributors list.  You can find that under Tribute Reports.

    Do you have the tribute module and are you using it on the gift record?  Honor/Memorial Acknowledgement letters are not the easiest to set up, but that is exactly what they are designed for.

    How you get the info out depends on how you entered it in the first place.  If you are using the Tribute Module those are different than if you were keeping the Tribute info on the Gift record of each donor.


    Either way, you should be able to set up a Acknowledgement in Mail that will thank the donor and also notify the honoree of the gift with the donor contact info.


    In my universe, we keep the IHO/IMO on the gift record.  Gift Attributes have been constructed for IHO Name, IMO Name, IHO/IMO Addressee, IHO/IMO Salutation, IHO/IMO Address, IHO/IMO City, IHO/IMO State, IHO/IMO Zip.  

    The Ack letter is two pages.  First page is the thank you to the Donor including the name(s) of the IHO/IMO using the IHO or IMO gift attribute field. Second page is to the Honoree and includes the donor name and contact fields.


    You could do the same kind of layout with the tribute mod fields.
