Acknowledging and Tracking donors for Social Media donations

When donors give via Facebook, does anyone track the individuals who made a contribution? If so, how? Also, the same for gifts via Network for Good - how do you track the individual donor support through these outside giving programs? Also, we notice some donors who give via Facebook campaigns then do not give through our annual appeal so their consecutive years of giving get thrown off - how to others address this issue? Thank you!

    Through recognition credits, we credit the individuals. The money comes in from the middleman, and the recognition credits split it out to the human beings.

    Thanks! I did do this for a recent gift
    from Network for Good. Are you able to track down who the
    donors are from Facebook campaigns? Also, do you have a query
    set up for acknowledgement credits and also are you able to track
    consecutive years? giving this way?
