Creating Opportunities

Hello All,

Our organization has never created opportunities, I've been using RE for about 6 months now and we are ready to start using them. However, I am not sure where I can create the list of opportunities. Any guidance is appreciated.

Hi Luz Aguilar‍, to get a list of opportunities, under the lists dropdown menu you can create lists of opportunities with any filters/columns you would like.

You also create lists for opportunities in the Database View, such as Status, reasons and ratings. Go to Config, Tables and Find Proposal. Proposals in Database View = Opportunities in WEb View NXT.

Jeff,

I am RE certified, but new to my position. We have never used “Opportunities” before even though we have always had the option. Can you give me some insight as to “how” your organization uses the Opportunity tab in NXT? What is considered an “Opportunity” category?

Is this just a campaign or can it be things like: Planned Gift or IRA Prospecting, etc?
