OLX - Deploying a mass email to our Alumni Data takes hours.

Hi everyone,

Just curious to hear from those who use OLX how long it takes to deploy an email to over 100,000+ constituents? Ours can take any where from 1-4 hours. Just looking for solutions.

Hi Austen,

It happens either way - if we are scheduling it and in real time. Once we hit 'Schedule Message' the RE and OLX Browser goes into "Not Responding" and basically freezing. Then we wait until the next step appears to either send or schedule the message.


For example I scheduled an email last night that was to be deployed at 6am today. I hit 'schedule message' it at 9pm, and it finally 'scheduled' at 11:37pm.

We send to about a tenth of the volume you have, and there is occasionally a small delay between selecting the button and finalizing the scheduled date or sending the message; the delay is likely exacerbated by the large volume of emails you are trying to send these messages to. Reach out to support and see if there is anything that can be done on your or BB’s end to help improve this.
