Hello, we are currently new(ish) converts to RENXT and NetCommunity. We are now looking at additional functionality related to project based funding - such as peer-to-peer projects like Athletics teams, group gifts to scholarships, and student-led projects. We have been creating dedicated giving pages and communicating with these folks, but would like something a little slicker (that still integrates well with RENXT). As well, we are looking ahead to a potential Giving Day project.


We have been looking at JustGiving, TeamRaiser, Luminate and all seem to have some of the functionality we are looking for (albeit at different price points). I'd love to hear what tools others are using and what issues they've run into with data integration, or big wins that you've found.

    Hi Miranda Diakiw‍ - I have used both of the platforms you mentioned at my current organization. JustGiving is the easiest to use out-of-the-box, but is not as customizable as say TeamRaiser. On the other hand, TeamRaiser while customizable is very difficult to manage especially if you do not have a staff member that is proficient in HTML/CSS. It really depends on what your organization is looking to do, and how hands-on you want to be.


    In terms of integration with RE/NXT there are pros and cons for each. When we were using TeamRaiser we did not have NXT, and the entire integration was run through the RE/LO plug-in into RE7 (two-way), which was at the best of times frustrating to use (check out the RE/LO Forum for more info on this). JustGiving's integration is one-way from JG into NXT, but it is pretty seamless as constituents are auto-matched within your database to the incoming information from JG.
