does anyone know how to get seasonal addresses to list in a query instead of primary address?

I need to send something out to our summer residents now and I can't seem to find a way to get the seasonal addresses in a query.

Thank you

  • If you go into the full addresses node you can refine using seasonal beginning and end dates. You'll probably want to go through to see that it is actually grabbing the correct ones before you send, as you may get some strange results if end dates are left blank, etc. If the summer residents have a different address type you could also use that? Good luck!
  • You may also want to use the Address Processing filter so that you can specify "give me seasonal" first and then preferred or whatever second
  • Can you give me the steps.? I am not very familiar with queries and the training wasn't that good.

    Thank you

  • Constituent Query

    Addresses

    Address Processing

City (or zip, whatever your population criteria is)

A prompt window will come up: Address Type: Step 1: "Consider addresses with seasonal dates" (can enter a specific date, like today or June 10 etc); Step 2, the next prompt: "Specify, in order of importance, the address to consider if a valid seasonal address is not found" - I'd throw in primary as a secondary criteria if this is for a mailing or something

Then after that prompt window you will get operator prompt to enter what City, or zip whatever your population criteria is)

That should get you going :)
