Batch Processing of Gifts by Volunteers for phone/telethons?

Question: Has anyone ever used Gift Batch processing for phone-a-thons or call center fundraising activities at your organization? Any issues you came across in batching phoned-in gifts? Any issues with CC processing through the batch?
