Allow fundraiser to mark themselves as solicitor on gift record?

Hi, I've heard there is a way to allow solicitors functionality in NXT to mark themselves a solicitor on a gift record. I am not finding a permission for that anywhere. Suggestions? Opinions? Thanks!

To change a solicitor name on an existing gift, I believe you must have gift editing rights. Have you checked your security settings in database view?

This would be adding, not changing. I did create a new group in database view that allows this, but am stumped on where to put it in NXT roles.

Cathy Spencer‍, many of the rules for the web view are determined by settings in the database view. I have not worked with the specific setting that you're talking about - but generally if you don't see it in the web view, it's a rule in the database view!

I have gift editing rights and I don't see a way to change this from NXT webview. I can do so in db view, and I have all rights in NXT, but while I can see if a solicitor has received gift credit, there does not seem to be a way to edit the information.
