Does your organization use e-Receipts for acknowledgement purposes?

We use e-receipts, but also send a snail mail acknowledgement to any gift over $10.00, as well. We think it's just a nice personal touch rather than simply transactional.

Hi Bernie,

We use ReceipterPro for our e-receipting and it's been amazing. I highly recommend looking into it if you want to use e-receipting as your primary method of acknowledgement.

We do send a smail mail letter for high-level donors, but we're thinking about sending all acknowledgements by e-receipts and just sending a personal thank you to the high-level donors that doesn't have tax language.

Hi Elizabeth, Do you use any external service or Raiser's Edge's e-receipt facility?

Also, what do you all think about the possibility of donor reproducing their own receipt at their end? It feels risky. How do you handle this? Do you use any specific receipt number format?

We do the same. Also seems more personal with an actual letter than an autogenerated email.
