Working with Organizations

I'm looking to connect with anyone that is currently supporting their Corporate & Foundation fundraising teams within Raiser's Edge & Raiser's Edge NXT. Specifically, our teams are looking for best practices around working with organizations around Actions and Opportunities when we might have multiple contacts at each organization and potentially multiple opportunities. For example, do you store all actions and opportunities on the main organization's record? How do you show who the contact was with specifically if so?

  • I would do one org with multiple opportunities. You can assign different fundraisers to each opportunity. Does that help?

  • I just reread your question. You could add org contacts - within each opportunity - in the custom attributes field.
