Do lists automatically update?

I used lists to send emails to select groups for the first time a few weeks ago. We have some upcoming events that we would like to invite the same group using those lists. I would like to schedule emails far in advance and am wondering if any list changes will automatically update. My lists use constituent codes as the main source of filter. If that specific constituent code is added or deleted to a record, will the list be updated?

Yes, the lists will automatically update, unless you are basing them on a static query in the database.
